  Prior to the 1920's Crespi Cottage was on Carmel Stables' trail riding land.  It was a horseback rider's rustic cabin often used for overnight camping.  Today's 2BR 2BA Crespi Cottage features a brick patio surrounding the house.  Walls are built of post-adobe and redwood.  Dogs are also welcomed at Crespi Cottage.  Carmel-by-the-Sea's shops and restaurants are within about a five minute walk; another five minutes down Ocean Avenue is the beach.
